Ok, sorry for the lack of postage as of late. Life has been pretty nuts! First and foremost (the news is a little late sorry...)--I'm an aunt!!! Here is a picture of beautiful Hailey Marie Giles. She was born on April 26th. Poor girl, she was born the day of my GRE test...which went off as well as can be expected, thanks for asking.
She's adorable, right?
In other news, I'm in Moab! I have officially taken up permanent summer residence here. And it's been pretty good so far. I've been to a few days of work at the MAC (Moab Adventure Center) and I like it. There's a ton to learn and know but I think I'll get the hang of it soon. So at the MAC mostly what we do is book trips; river trips, mountain biking trips, hummer trips, jetboat trips, climbing trips, hiking trips... So in order to be a good salesman/woman, they occasionally send us on these trips. Yesterday I went on an Arches hike at sunset which was beautiful and today I went rafting through westwater canyon. Which was of course, amazing. And tons of fun. Brian and Jen drove me down here which I really appreciate. Thanks guys! Here's some proof that they were here.
You can't really see us...but there we are. In Arches. It was a great time. They even let me stay in their awesome little cabin and eat tin foil dinners with them. Aren't siblings just the best?
And....I think that's about it for the news. I guess that's not too much. It just feels like life has been crazy lately but I suppose that's the way it's meant to be right? So...if you're in Moab this summer, give me a call! Or just stop on by the MAC--your one-stop adventure store. :)
